How to Post to Google Business Profile Automatically
44 views

You write a post for Facebook. You copy it to Instagram and adjust it to the format. Then there is still the Google listing - and that is usually where it ends, because it means a third login, a third screen, a third paste of the same text. Google Business Profile (the tool once called Google My Business) is a free channel that genuinely decides whether a local customer calls you or keeps scrolling, and it still gets neglected, because nobody has time for a third manual step.

This article answers the "how do I automate it" question directly. What to write in the post is covered by our guide to Google Business Profile posts, and setting up and verifying the listing in the first place is covered by the complete Google Business Profile guide.

What "automatic publishing" actually means for Google Business Profile

Automatic publishing does not mean a schedule that invents content without you. It means you no longer open your Google Business Profile separately just to publish something there. Content you create once reaches the listing in the same motion that sends it everywhere else.

SyncBooster connects Facebook Pages, Instagram Business, LinkedIn and Google Business Profile in one chat-based workflow with AI. You do not need one tool for the Google listing and another for the rest of social media: one account, one conversation, one publish.

How to connect Google Business Profile for automatic publishing

The connection goes through Google's official sign-in (OAuth), with no passwords handed over for the app to store:

  1. In the Platforms tab you click "Connect Google".
  2. You sign in with the Google account that manages your business listing.
  3. From that moment Google Business Profile is one of your connected channels, next to Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.

If you run someone else's brand as an agency or a freelancer, you do not need your client's Google password. You send them an invitation link to connect the account (available in the Platforms tab next to the chosen channel). The client connects their own Google Business Profile, you never see their credentials, and you do not create an account for them in the app.

Worth knowing: the number of platforms connected to a single channel is unlimited on every plan, the free one included. You do not need a paid subscription to test automatic publishing to your Google listing.

What publishing looks like, step by step

Once the account is connected, the process is the same as for every other platform:

  1. You upload a photo of the work - the dish of the day, a finished job, an open appointment slot - and type the context in shorthand ("beef burger, 20% off, weekend").
  2. AI generates ready versions of the post, one per connected platform, matched to what that platform expects. The Google version is shorter and carries no hashtags, because the platform does not use them.
  3. You see the preview in the chat window. You can ask for changes in plain language ("make it shorter", "add more specifics") or click "Edit" and fix it by hand.
  4. You write "publish" and the post goes out to every connected platform at once, Google Business Profile included. You can also schedule it: "schedule for tomorrow at 10:00".

One message in the chat replaces three or four separate logins and pastes of the same text.

Scheduling and the calendar

Scheduled and published entries for the Google listing show up in the same calendar as posts for the other platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn). The calendar filters by platform, so you can check on your own what went to Google and when. A scheduled post can be moved to another time or cancelled before it runs.

SyncBooster also pulls in posts published manually, without the app, straight from the connected Google Business Profile. They land in the same calendar, so the view reflects what is really happening on the listing even when somebody else on the team added an entry directly in Google.

What automation does NOT cover on the Google listing

So that the product is not promised to do more than it does:

  • There is no statistics module. SyncBooster reads the content of published posts into the calendar, but there is no screen with reach or engagement, for Google or for any other platform.
  • Stories do not apply to the Google listing. The stories feature in SyncBooster Studio works only on Instagram and Facebook Pages. Google Business Profile has no stories format, so the app has none either.
  • Replying to reviews stays with you. The automation covers publishing posts, not managing customer reviews. Building a process for answering them is a separate subject, covered in our guide to getting Google reviews.
  • The content is still yours. AI drafts a proposal from your photo and the context from onboarding, but you confirm the publication. Nothing reaches the listing without your approval in the conversation.

Yes. The connection to Google Business Profile goes through Google's official sign-in (OAuth 2.0). SyncBooster never stores your Google password, only the access token Google itself grants after your consent. Publishing runs through the official mechanism, on the same terms as publishing by hand while signed in to that same account.

Manual versus automatic: the difference in steps

By handWith automation (SyncBooster)
Platform loginsseparately for FB, IG, LinkedIn, Googleone account, one conversation
Writing the contentseparately for each platformAI drafts a version for each at once
Publishingmanually on every platformone confirmation in the chat
Scheduling aheada separate calendar per platformone instruction, one calendar
Trace of posts somebody added by handyou check every platformvisible in one calendar

Start with a single post

If your Google listing is silent today because that third login always loses out at the end of the day, this is exactly the problem automation solves. It does not replace the content, it removes the repetitive clicking between platforms.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a separate tool just for the Google listing?

No. SyncBooster publishes to Google Business Profile in the same flow as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, so a separate app is not needed.

Does automatic publishing work on the free plan?

Yes. The number of platforms connected to a channel (Google Business Profile included) is unlimited on every plan, the free one included (no credit card, 100+100 tokens to start).

Can I schedule a Google Business Profile post in advance?

Yes. Type the time in the chat, for example "schedule for Friday at 12:00". The post lands in the calendar and publishes automatically at that time, together with the other platforms if you set it that way.

Does SyncBooster reply to customer reviews on Google for me?

No. The automation covers publishing posts, not review management. That stays a separate process on your side.

What happens if somebody publishes a post directly in Google, bypassing SyncBooster?

SyncBooster pulls that entry from the connected account and shows it in the same calendar as posts sent through the app. It reads the content, it does not interfere with what somebody published by hand.

From a photo to a published post

Write a short brief about your post - SyncBooster turns it into a ready-to-go post with a preview for every platform, ready to publish.

1Write what you want the post to be about
SyncBooster chat with photos and a short post brief
2A ready post with a preview for every platform
